What to bring
Bring your referral, Medicare card and relevant previous imaging or reports. Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment so reception can confirm your details. Most examinations take approximately 20–60 minutes.
03
Results and reports
A consultant radiologist interprets the examination. KMI strives to send the report securely to your referring practitioner within 48 hours. Your practitioner will explain the results and any next steps.
Your individual referral and appointment instructions take precedence. Do not stop or change medication unless authorised by an appropriate healthcare professional. Call KMI if you are unsure.
